Harvey Korman starred or appeared in numerous movies and television shows from the Carol Burnett show of the 1970s, to Mama's Family in the 1980s, and the Apple Dumpling Gang from Walt Disney. He was a talented comedian and will be sorely missed.

WE lost two great comedians this week. They would have most people laughing so hard your stomach hurt...all without on profane word or act.RIP Mr Korman :(

He use to make me laugh till tears ran down my face...What a true comic.

First Suzanne Pleshette, now Harvey Korman....
(SIGH....) The truly talented people are disappearing, leaving us with.... well, I'll let you fill in your own talent-free celebutard that passes for an entertainer these days.
Harvey Korman was a true professional, and leaves a lasting mark on the world of entertainment. He was actually funny, unlike most performers these days. His "Mother Marcus" routine on the Carol Burnett Show should be entered into the Smithsonian.
You are irreplacable, Harvey. We will miss you. :(

I'm not sure another performer ever gave me more laughs. For years my family would sit down and watch "The Carol Burnett Show" together. But Harvey always stole the show for me. I don't know if I ever laughed harder than the Gone with the Wind parody which they called just ..."the Wind". When Carol started walking down the steps of Tara wearing the curtains with the rod still through the back, the expression on Harvey's face was priceless. "Scarlett, you've never looked more beautiful, that dress is stunning". The cast was so funny they often cracked each other up.
And of course Hedley Lamarr, "that's Hedley", will always be one of the all-time comedic portrayals. He of the "swirling rivulets of thought". I can watch Blazing Saddles any time I am down and laugh the pain away. We were just discussing this a few weeks back.
A sad day. There is a little less laughter in the world today.

Considering what passes for comedy these days, how did Harvey, Carol and Tim manage to be so funny when they never used any four letter words or got down in the gutter for humor.
I know the angels are giggling in heaven today. Go to a good rest Harvey, you deserve it for all the pleasure you brought to the world.

1. Count the Monet (Money): In History Of The World, Part 1" Him and King Mel Brooks at Louie's Palace. "It's Good To Be the King." LOL
2. Hedley Lamarr, "Blazing Saddles" He played off of Mel Brooks like a pro. Him, Mel Brooks and Cleavon Little in the Governor's office. Classic

He was funny, but, he wasn't a good actor. Good actors don't laugh at their matterial during skits. Now, Tim Conway, HE could keep a straight face even during the FUNNIEST of bits...good acting there.

He was a very funny man. The acts he did with Tim Conway were always hilarious. The Carol Burnett Show was one of my favorites to watch as a kid. I loved him in Blazing Saddles, too.
Now he's just a fond memory to me, but a memory I won't soon forget.
Rest in peace Harvey Korman.
He will be missed.
