No one should be fired for a comment, such as the one made; however, discipline would not be out of the question and review of all the circumstances that lead up to this issue would be necessay.
Todays people over touchy feely stuff has gone to fare, be adults and not a bunch of wimpering childern. Most everyone has made a comment at one time or another that was not appropriate, this should be no differant. The word used was not that bad. How it was internalized is the real issue. Take a look at those that have taken it to hart, what is there profile and hidden agenda. There are so many more important concerns that effect us all, including how the Oil Giants are taking billions from everyone and returning very little, as well as the killings that continue outside the US.
